About Us

We are a Bi-partisan group who believe that the first  responsibility of a citizen in a democracy is to vote. Many citizens in Yorktown, New York, feel their town has changed and they are not sure why.

We believe the town has changed because voter turnout in Yorktown elections rarely exceed 40% of registered voters. In Special Elections, turnout can be as low as 32%.

When 60% of voters do not participate in elections, then a minority of voters decide who is Town Supervisor and who serves on the Town Board. This means that the future of the town is decided by a handful of individuals and not a significant majority of the citizens.

For this reason, we are striving to find ways to increase the election participation of all Yorktown Voters, in all local, state, and national elections.
